Fabulous Cordial Mogan Playa

We have been here many times before both as a couple & also with family. We thought this might be our last visit but on arriving immediately felt at home & decided we want to return yet again. Improvements have been made which made our stay even more amazing although weren't necessary. A particular thankyou goes to our favourite waitresses Sophia and Vanessa.

We have been to many great hotels around the world and this one is right up there with the best! Spotlessly clean throughout, fantastic staff & an endless choice of great food. It's very cleverly designed to cater for families, and for those seeking a quieter experience, by separating the pool areas into one where flotation aids & ball games are allowed and another where they are not. The hotel reception and dining areas are adorned with beautiful botanical plants / trees, with water features ie water falls & small caves. A very short walking distance from the town too. Many guests told us they had returned numerous times & we can fully understand why!

Beautiful Botanical Hotel

We had an excellent stay at The Cordial. All staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming from the start. The hotel is in beautiful, botanical surroundings and is very tropical. We opted for B&B and the food was great with plenty of options to suit! There was entertainment in the evening if you choose & just a 10 min stroll to the beautiful harbour with plenty or lovely restaurants also. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable! Loved having black out curtains. We had a room over looking the quiet pool which was beautiful and not noisy at all. We would highly recommend this hotel. It has lots of character and we would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic holiday.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, was direkt hinter der Bucht (max. 3’min zu Fuss) von Mogan mit feinem Sandstrand und dem Fischerdorf liegt. Wir durften hier drei traumhafte Urlaubswochen als Familie mit Kleinkind verbringen. Gepflegte Anlage, superfreundliches Personal und sehr gute Küche mit regionalen und internationalen Gerichten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Hilfsbereitschaft Mitarbeiter. Egal wann, egal wo, wurde einem schnell und unkompliziert geholfen. Ausserdem ist vom Management bis zur Reinigungskraft alle ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein langjährig, eingespieltes Team, was den Gästen die Wünsche erfüllt. Wirklich toll! Unser Frühstück im Suitenbereich war ausgezeichnet, sehr abwechslungsreich und mit guten Produkten. Spiegeleier und weitere Eierspeisen werden direkt vor Ort zubereitet. Juani und ihre Team leisten hier einen tollen Job und sind allzeit gut gelaunt. Die beiden Poolbereiche bieten genügend Platz und sind mit Kinderpool, Whirlpool toll ausgestattet. Es gibt Softauflagen für die Liegen. Unser Fazit: Wir waren schon auf auf Gran Canaria in verschiedenen Hotels. Dies war unser erster Besuch im Cordial Mogan Playa, aber bestimmt nicht unser letzter! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Muchas gracias!

El bufé es de buena cantidad y mejor calidad y variedad. Todo muy rico y el personal muy atento siempre. Las vistas de la terraza mientras se desayuna o se cena son preciosas con el laguito y todo el verdor que hay. Si vas cuando coincide con tu cumpleaños te hacen un regalo. La verdad es que es un hotel muy completo.

The hotel is the best I have ever stayed in, I have been to Gran Canaria a few times before and the hotel, the area, the restaurants, beaches are the best in Gran Canaria, in my opinion. The bedroom was huge, balcony over looked the swimming pool, the bathroom was very modern and the bedding was beautiful and lovely fluffy towels and the whole places was spotlessly clean. We had a kettle in the room with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. We also had a fridge which we needed for water as it was so hot there even though it was late April. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in my whole life, so much choice, we did not eat again until our evening meal which we took down the Marina as we only had bed and breakfast. You had all the basics plus loads of different juices and smoothies, so many cereals to choose from and different breads plus croissants and pastries, lots of hot food and loads of cold food too. The Spanish tortilla was gorgeous, well it was all gorgeous. Two pools, huge, one quiet pool and one for children, games room for children, entertainment in the evening was the best I have seen. Shop in the foyer and they had a spa which you had to pay for. Shops and cafes and bars opposite the hotel and the beach was five minute walk away. The whole area was so clean. We are going back for New Year, I just love the whole area and the hotel.

We had truly wonderful time in the Cordial Mogán Valle hotel. Hotel staff was very nice and supportive showing real interest everytime we needed something. Our kids had a blast with the animation program. Food was good and selection broad. Everyone was very friendly. We would definitely recommend for families with kids and plan to come back in the future.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay here. What can I say apart from it is an outstanding hotel. We had the standard double room in block 5. It was so convenient for the quiet pool and reception area. The room was huge and immaculate. The reception and grounds are just stunning. Breakfast was a buffet , it was delicious. Staff are fantastic, all of them so friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the restaurant manager who arranged a birthday cake and decorated our table at breakfast for my daughters birthday. We had only asked where we could buy a cake in town and they said no problem, we will sort it. We came home and are looking to book again asap. If you want to have a holiday where you will come home feeling completely relaxed and everything was exactly as you hoped, book this place. We can't wait to return.

Urlaub inmitten eines botanischen Gartens voller Palmen- und Blumenpracht, hübschen Tauben und streunenden Katzen, eine wunderschöne und gepflegte Anlage, tolle Pools, hervorragendes Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal, kostenloses Parken in der Tiefgarage. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar- die kleine unscheinbare Tür dahin ein echtes Highlight und das dahinter liegende Bistro unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Wir sind absoluter Wiederholungstäter. Nun schon zum 10ten mal dort gewesen. Leider mussten wir wegen Covid 2020 und 2021 ausssetzen. Diese Zeit hat das Hotel genutzt, den Buffetbereich umzugestalten, was auch sehr gut gelungen ist. Die Anlage macht immer noch den sehr gepflegten Eindruck wie in der Vergangenheit. Die Essenqualität ist sehr gut. Nach unserem Geschmack ist die Auswahl mehr als ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Poolservice hervorragend. Auch das Team des Hauskeeping ist Klasse. Angefangen von der Reinigung bis hin zum abendlichen Aufdeckservice der Betten. "Klasse" Der wöchentliche Empfang seitens der Geschäftsführung incl. kostenloser Getränke ist nicht selbstverständlich. Hier ein freundlichen "hallo Marcos", der sich Anregungen notiert und ggf. für Umsetzung sorgen will. Also insgesamt wieder ein rund um gelungener Urlaub. VIELEN DANK CORDILA MOGAN PLAYA

Todo en general, El servicio y todas las comodidades, la piscina es una maravilla con sus hamacas con colchonetas la hace perfecta.. La amabilidad del personal ha sido perfecta, incluso pedí algunos nombres para poderlos nombrar aquí, pues la mayoría de las veces el esfuerzo de estas personas pasan desapercibidos y no debería ser así, pues estos pequeños detalles hacen que vuelva siempre a este hotel, desde el bar piscina con Vanesa que nos ayudo en un pequeño contratiempo el día de la llegada, haciendo así que el resto de días estuviéramos bien, Zulay una chica encantadora en el servicio de cenas, nos alegramos muchísimo de haberla vuelto a ver después de muchos años pues trasmite mucha energía positiva y gran profesionalidad,, también nos encanto conocer a una señora encantadora Mari Carmen, que nos explicó muy bien y de manera muy simpática y adorable el funcionamiento de las habitaciones de cortesía, y por último el detalle de Raymond y Salaam que aún nosotros siendo conscientes de que llegábamos casi fuera de hora al bar de recepción en la noche, nos atendieron y con gran simpatía y amabilidad. Conocemos la mayoría de grandes hoteles de Gran Canaria, y cuando queremos garantizar unos días de verdadero relax pensamos en este hotel.

The breakfast was unbelievable, I was very impressed. The gardens were stunning and full of plants. The pools were both very good. The cocktails were great. Nice calm atmosphere and very friendly staff. Super helpful reception desk and a cute welcome drink on arrival. Special shoutout to the golden glass lifts in the lobby. Main entrance leads directly out onto the pedestrian promenade so you can walk safely down to the beach/marina in 10 minutes. SO MANY PALM TREES, can I come back now please

Das Person ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insbesondere auch mit Kindern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. - Die Lage ist top. Man ist zu Fuss innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten an der Strandpromenade (Meer, diverse Restaurants, diverse Einkaufsläden, Strand, etc.). Puerto de Mogan ist wirklich ein schöner Ort. Zudem erreicht man vom Hotel in ca. 5 Gehminuten den Busbahnhof mit diversen Bussen in alle Richtigungen. Man braucht also kein Auto zu mieten. - Die Hotelanlage ist schön, mit vielen Pflanzen, gestaltet. Die zwei grossen Pools sind super. Auch, dass es einen „ruhigen“ Pool und einen mit Animationen gibt. - Das Essen (wir hatten Halbpension) war gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen. Am Abend gab es immer Abwechslung. Cooles Dessertbuffet für Kids mit Schokoladen-Brunnen! - Es gab jeden Abend ein Unterhaltungsprogramm (Musik, Zirkus, Zauberer etc). Es war jetzt nich gerade „Hollywood-Reif“ :-), aber insbesondere auch mit Kindern toll.

We stayed for two weeks with our children (5+8), the location is great, facilities too, very clean and the staff are very friendly too. The heated pool is great with kids, and there are inflatable toys available for everyone to share, which makes for a very nice atmosphere. It is also only a very short walk to the beach, promenade and the port with numerous restaurants. The family room is very spacious. We both worked remotely from the hotel room, WiFi in room is strong and stable enough for video calls, and strong WiFi signals throughout the hotel property.

This is our fifth visit to this hotel and we have not been disappointed despite a two year gap due to the Covid pandemic. I would simply be duplicating other 5 star reviews so instead will focus on the excellent activity facilities. There are three table tennis tables (no charge), a games room, a tennis court and childrens’ organised activities. However, for me, one of the most enjoyable pastimes has been the regular inclusive Pilates/Yoga/Stretching sessions and, separately, the aqua fit moves to music in the lower swimming pool. Whether a novice or more experienced, the resident experienced instructor Carlos is an expert guide. My mobility has increased in leaps and bounds after 14 days voluntary participation, so absolutely no excuse to return home and despair at the readings of the bathroom scales after all the lovely meals!!!

This was our third stay at beautiful Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa – and I am sure that we will be back again next year. The hotel is perfectly located next to the pedestrian walkway that runs into the charming little village, just about 10 minutes walk to the promenade. This time we had a standard double room on the third floor (no 7321) with beautiful sea views and afternoon sun at the balcony (see my attached photos). The room was well equipped and comfortable. In the main bedroom there was a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a 32-inch TV, two comfy chairs, a table and desk. The wardrobe was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower over the bath. The hotel is always kept spotless both in rooms and the public areas. A huge congratulation to the whole housekeeping team! [...] In summary, Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa a very well-run resort offering a high standard of quality and service. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place. Perfecto paraíso para familias

Era la primera vez que visitábamos Mogán, y tengo que decir que nos pareció un pueblo precioso, maravilloso y perfecto para unas vacaciones en familia. La zona del puerto es preciosa, los atardeceres increíbles y la playa maravillosa. Y además, nos encontramos en el Cordial Mogán Playa, que no es tan sólo un hotel, es un lugar de vacaciones, una mini ciudad, un oasis … La habitación es grande, espaciosa y muy cómoda, con una terraza espectacular, en nuestro caso, con vistas a una de las piscinas y el edificio principal de recepción. Los servicios del hotel son inmejorables y superan la media de cualquier otro hotel: bolera, pistas de tenis, varias piscinas, jacuzzis, zona de juegos recreativos, guardería con actividades diarias, ejercicios diario como yoga y pilates, alquiler de bicicletas, club de buceo … El entorno o interior del recinto es como un gran jardín, y en esto tengo que dar la enhorabuena a los jardineros ya que está todo super cuidado, incluso con carteles indicando qué tipo de planta es. Todo está muy verde, agua y pequeños ríos por todos lagos, cascadas cayendo entre edificios e incluso al interior del edificio principal … sencillamente es un paraíso verde. El servicio de buffet y cena es muy bueno, hay mucha variedad de producto y además es donde se notan los detalles de un buen hotel, ya que sólo hace falta un día para que ya recuerden los nombres, dónde te sentaste y que necesitábamos una silla alta para el peque, cada día que llegábamos, allí estaba nuestra mesa de siempre preparada con la silla. Por último he de decir que este hotel nos genero mucha felicidad al estar allí y no sólo por el hecho de estar allí en familia sino de ver que toda la gente allí estaba feliz, llamémoslo felicidad al cuadrado… y lo cierto es que desde que entras por la puerta todos los empleados están sonrientes y dispuestos ha hacer de la estancia, un momento único.

Fantastic stay! Relaxed atmosphere from the start with a welcome drink when booking in and luggage taken straight to our room. Room with a very large balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Everywhere in the hotel from room to pool areas kept spotlessly clean, excellent choice of food at breakfast buffet including cava. Short walk to beach and local restaurants plus low key shopping, large market in resort on a Friday. Friendly staff from the housekeeping to breakfast staff and staff taking the morning fun fitness activities. Totally understand why people return year after year to this hotel, could not find any fault in the hotel at all.

Just had a lovely 12 day break at this lovely holiday. Was a little apprehensive on reports of its ‘size’ but confirm its set up and layout is like a Canadian village - it is lovely, relaxed and peaceful. We need not have worried. We did not use the pool as that is not our ‘scene’ but had a lovely quiet high balcony with view over pool and garden (this is a must) - if you like to sit on a sunny quiet balcony like us, don’t have a ‘front’ room overlooking shopping centre, or a lower floor unless you want to look at green foliage and get no sun! Breakfast could not be faulted - everything you could possibly want including smoked mackerel and proper marmalade (no marmite though!! Reception staff were exceptionally helpful. [...], they went beyond the call of duty to help with necessary return forms. Can’t thank them enough. The grounds even contain a tastefully presented archaeological burial site - very interesting and ‘different’ Evening music finished at 10 which was perfect - all in all - one of the best holiday hotels I have stayed at and can recommend 100% Past reviews often amaze me - in response to a recent poor review, can only say that (1) Pool towel replacement system was explained to us on check in - it could not be simpler (2) we did not have to carry our own towels to our room - the bellboy brought them up with our luggage (3) the staff were the most pleasant and helpful we have had anywhere (4) had 12 excellent nights sleep In Super comfy beds - never noticed any hard plastic sheeting (5) nothing wrong with our shower/bathroom (6) hotel and grounds were immaculate throughout. This was our third stay at beautiful Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa – and I am sure that we will be back again next year. The hotel is perfectly located next to the pedestrian walkway that runs into the charming little village, just about 10 minutes walk to the promenade. This time we had a standard double room on the third floor (no 7321) with beautiful sea views and afternoon sun at the balcony (see my attached photos). The room was well equipped and comfortable. In the main bedroom there was a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a 32-inch TV, two comfy chairs, a table and desk. The wardrobe was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower over the bath. The hotel is always kept spotless both in rooms and the public areas. A huge congratulation to the whole housekeeping team! I notice that some reviewers mention that there is a problem with reserving sun beds by the pool early in the morning. We had no problem getting a perfectly located sunbed after breakfast around 11 AM. For us there was no need to get up early to reserve a sunbed with the beach towel. The wifi was fragile – We never did manage to get it to work. In summary, Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa a very well-run resort offering a high standard of quality and service. Everything was just perfect. Even thought the hotel is big (487 rooms), you still get a great sense of peace and quiet, as it is really well spread out and surrounded by a well kept tropical garden. We stayed in one of their junior suite and if you can pay that little extra, it’s highly recommended. Particularly with our little 2 y.o. to accommodate her early night sleep and afternoon naps we still had plenty of space for us to chill and soak in the lovely sun. Everyone we encountered was ver friendly, warm and showed a great sense of care towards our and our little girl’s needs. Breakfast in Tamaragua was very good, we particularly enjoyed the lovey ladies that were looking after the restaurant in the morning, and the chef that was cooking the most delicious omelettes. Our daughter was so touched by their attention and about how they made us feel. Dinner in the main restaurant was ok, a good selection, but if you are a foodie, it can get a bit repetitive. Please don’t let this detract you from staying here as they even have a 1 Michelin Starred restaurant and plenty of lovely little restaurants a quick stroll from the hotel. They have 2 main pools, a quite one for adults and another one where children are allowed to be themselves under the attentive eye of the lifeguard, who was a real charmer. PS they have plenty of floatable toys for children to borrow, so you don’t need to bring your own.. They also have a Spa which we didn’t use, a cactus garden, and even an archeological park with an outstanding “Mirador” to soak in the views of the beach and the Puerto, just a 10 minute walk away. Now at last the location. Simply excellent! You can walk in 5 minutes to the beach and you can come in and out of the resort from some conveniently located doors throughout the resort, without having to go via reception every time. What else… bowling alley, trampolines, cats, very well kept tropical garden, road and mountain bike rental, gym, baby club, yoga, aqua gym, live music, minidisco and the list goes on. One of the evening we met the Director of the resort and he was as charming and caring as we would have imagined, based on the interactions we previously had with his team. He told us that Cordial means “from the heart” and that’s exactly what we felt across our stay, genuine warmth and care. Great place, but most of all great people and this is why we will be back. I have just had a wonderful 10 night stay at this hotel and will definitely be going back next year. The check-in at reception on arrival was warm and welcoming and this service continued throughout our stay. The pool areas are exceptional and there is never a shortage of sunbeds. The varied fitness classes outdoor/in the pool are run by a young man who is not only an excellent keep fit instructor but has a most humorous nature and makes it all fun. There was some very good entertainment in the lounge/bar area each evening.

This is an excellent resort hotel, I agree with all the praise of the staff, facilities and location. For me, what sets Mogan Playa apart from other fine resort hotels are the architecture and the gardens. The details on the walls and floors delight as you walk around the buildings, and the facades and silhouettes against the rugged hillside are a pleasure when swimming around the pools. This is so different from the many hotel blocks in the Canaries. The gardens are extensive and more like a botanical garden than a hotel planting scheme. There are trees from around the world, including Australia, Tonga, India and of course many Canarian dragon trees. The cacti garden had some of the largest cacti I have seen. there is even a veg patch, where amongst the cauliflowers and lettuce there is a coffee bush and peppers ripening red whilst we were there (in February!) If you like a cup of tea the room has tea bags, a good kettle and sensible mugs but the only milk is coffee creamer. the supermarket just opposite reception has semi skimmed. The bus station is close to the hotel so it is easy to get around even without a hire car. Most buses go back around the coast but I recommend taking one of the buses up the valley beyond Mogan- the scenery is spectacular, and the hill villages let you see a different side to Gran Canaria. Tennis is Eu13 an hour, Eu17 with rackets and balls. Its worth booking in advance if you want to avoid the heat of midday.

Zwei Pool-Anlagen mit genügend Schirmen und Liegen. Eine mehr für Kinder, eine ruhiger mehr für Erwachsene. Frühstücks-Buffet mit großer Auswahl und ordentlicher Qualität, man konnte auch draußen sitzen. Die Junior-Suiten haben einen eigenen Frühstücks-Raum. Service in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Entfernung zum Hafen mit vielen schönen Restaurants 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig.

A beautiful hotel, the reception area is incredible and we were greeted with a glass of Cava when we came in. The hotel grounds are espectacular, wonderful gardens and lovely courtyards, secluded spots, it’s more like a village than a hotel. All services were excellent, bars, restaurants, pools, rooms. What made the place more special was the amazing service and customer care. It cannot be faulted. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant but I would like to mention Juana and her team in the Blue Building who made our breakfast so special. Puerto de Mogán is a lovely place but if I go back it will have to be to this hotel. Absolutely fantastic.

The hotel is an oasis of calm with a most amazing team of staff who were professional and friendly and who were very friendly and welcoming. A special mention for Christofer at the pool whose work ethic and friendliness was exceptional. The room was large and had another door into the bedroom which meant you didn't hear noise from the corridor. There are two pools with plenty of sun loungers and pretty gardens. There was a good variety of food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. The bellboy gave lots of useful information whilst delivering luggage to the room and the waitress at dinner was very friendly and efficient.

Spontaneously booked 1 week with a friend of mine to get some well needed vacation. She found the hotel on TUI and we chose it as we loved the pictures of the gardens, as well as the interior. And we were not disappointed! The entire hotel is very nicely decorated, feeling very local. Lovely garden and pool area, as well as great food and drinks. And good glutenfree options! We had the half board option and it was a great choice. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices, and also dinner was very good. We ate there every evening. Drinks in the bar were also very nice and good priced. They has a specialised Gin menu and we made our way through the options during our stay. It was very calm, we were some of the younger guests being in our early 30s. But that is what we loved most - it was quiet, relaxing and low key. Everyone was friendly, both staff and other guests. All in all, we had an amazing stay and are planning to return some day! Best: The cats living on the compound were being fed right at our staircase. We love cats, so it was amazing to bond with them and watch them go about their life :)

It’s like a giant botanical garden that is also a hotel with plants, caves, running water, a walking path and huge trees. Definetely one of the most amazing places I’ve stayed! They had also separated a “play area” for kids and a “relax area” for grown ups, which was super nice as a solo adult traveler. The hotel has a bike rental shop on the premises, and I got to rent a Specialized e-bike to go up in the mountains. Very practical. 10 of 10 on staff, location, facilities and safety.

Es la segunda vez que visitamos este hotel en diciembre. Esta vez hemos viajado con nuestro hijo de 5 años y nuestra pequeña de 1 añito. Nos han alojado en un bajo en el bloque 7, con un poquito de jardín para nosotros, muy cómodo para que los niños jugasen. Un detalle muy especial es que nuestra hija tenia todos los días su puré preparado en el restaurante La Fula, sin coste alguno, esos detalles se agradece . El personal de 10, siempre atentos y muy cariñosos con los peques. Esperamos volver por tercera vez el próximo año.

Hemos estado seis días, y cada uno de ellos han sido excepcionales. El hotel es una maravilla, jardines preciosos y súper bien cuidados, todo muy limpio, piscinas muy cuidadas, aunque no las disfrute mucho, porque el agua estaba muy fría, aunque había gente que si se metió como mi marido. El desayuno y la cena espectacular, había de todo para escoger. Y que decir del personal, es una MARAVILLA, todos desde recepción, camareros etc, por cierto un apunte especial a Ángelo super simpático y muy amable con nosotros. Son todos un encanto nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Gracias por todo UN hotel de Sobresaliente.

Fantastic choice of hot and cold food for breakfast - we were very impressed! Plenty of fruit, smoothies & pancakes - which I loved! My partner even spotted breaded cauliflower in the hot food area.The waiting staff were polite, friendly and quick to offer a tea or coffee with your breakfast. The hotel grounds are stunning and kept pristine - banana trees, pomegranate, palm trees & beautiful vibrant flowers amongst many - you really are in a tropical setting. There are half a dozen or so feral cats in the hotel grounds which are well fed & cared for - and lovely to see! The swimming pool area is very attractive and the life guards cheerful and friendly. Our bed was comfy, the room exactly as in the internet photos - lovely style and very clean!

I have lost count on how many times I've stayed in this hotel over the years. It is my go to place for a winter holiday. This time I stayed for two weeks, booking direct with the hotel taking advantage of the discounts they offer through their free Club Cordial. If you are a member of the customer loyalty club, you get to reserve your room online if you pre pay for your booking. This was my first visit after the pandemic started. I was pleased to see that the grounds around the two pools have got a face lift. New tiles around the pools and all the sand/gravel areas are now replaced by artificial grass. New toilet facilities by the splash pool. Both the adult/quiet pool and the family pool are heated to a comfortable temperature. I had no problem getting a perfectly located sunbed after breakfast around 10:30 AM. For me there was no need to get up early to reserve a sunbed with the beach towel. There are plenty of sunbeds and it is no problem finding beds that have sun all day. There are also shaded areas. You can swap beach towels every morning by the pools. The breakfast buffet continues to be great, although the regulars might miss some of the dishes such as the poached pears and the black pudding. I wish that the hot vegetables (broccoli and cauliflower) were not so soggy and cocked to death. Like another recent reviewer mentioned: Their approach to hygiene was excellent and their C-19 protocol was good - everyone had to wear masks in the restaurants, and all indoor areas. In addition there are hand sanitizers everywhere. My room and terrace were spotlessly clean. My review is based on the fact that I have long relationship with this hotel. I notice that some reviewers mention that the hotel is dated. However, for me the hotel is a unique grand old dame with lush gardens. It has a tranquil vibe and is very quiet. I stayed next door at the Radisson last year and it wasn't for me; too modern, broken sunbeds, and too many families with young kids. The buffet had slightly lower standard and variety

Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einer traumhaften Umgebung. Die Anlage erinnert an einen Botanischen Garten. Selten so etwas Schönes gesehen (vor allem wenn man das auch noch mit den "Betonbunkern" in den Nachbarorten vergleicht). Auch Service und Verpflegung des Hotels sind ohne Einschränkungen zu empfehlen. Sehr schöne und geräumige Unterkunft (wir hatten uns eine Junior Suite erlaub: sehr empfehlenswert). Großzügiges Poolbereich mit immer ausreichend Liegemöglichkeiten. Angenehmes Publikum im November (viele aus Nordeuropa). Puerto de Mogan ist auch ein hübscher Urlaubsort (nicht umsonst auch unter den Top Ten der Reiseziele auf Gran Canaria). Zusammenfassend: alles hat gepasst in diesem Hotel.

We were delighted to get back to this hotel. Their approach to hygiene was excellent and their C-19 protocol was good - everyone had to wear masks in the restaurants, and all indoor areas. Clearly this approach did not please everyone - personally I was very happy. Our junior suite was perfectly cleaned daily, food was excellent and the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever. Three of us on a 10 day break . Having an 87 year old with us we needed to consider quite a few things before booking . Overall a lovely place , the gardens and pools sell the place as they are beautiful and plenty to see and walk around offering sun and shade . The hotel is spread out in blocks and we were in the yellow block near the lower pool. We found it a halfway point between the reception and restaurant and the lower gates to walk into town. The walk into the town and seafront would take approx 5 minutes then a further couple of minutes into the port and all the restaurants . Although plenty of restaurants before the port . The lifts at the hotel could be a little temperamental at times which with an 87 year old could be frustrating . The breakfast buffet was very good with vast choice . The attitude towards covid was good and continual throughout as always reminded people to wear masks if anyone forgot . Plenty of gel everywhere around all the hotel . The bedrooms are huge and the beds comfortable and clean. But very very dated . If your not fussed about that then it’s fine . Decent size balcony too with all rooms . Entertainment we found was ok. Some nights better than others . The lounge it was held in was nice and reminded us of being on a cruise ship . The staff were pleasant and helpful at all times . Some issue in my fathers room with coffee and creamers never being replaced . We had the buffet one night and it was ok … but that’s all. But we are generally not buffet people and prefer to eat in town . The biggest thing we felt that was massively missing was somewhere to have a drink outdoors in the evening . There’s nowhere other than reception area where there’s a big bar and piano . The two pool bars were never open in the evening . For us , we love to sit outside with a drink on holiday , so couldn’t do that in this hotel. The restaurant was mainly indoor seating with some outside seats that were in shade mostly so felt chilly some mornings . It’s a convenient location and the pools and gardens are amazing and plenty of sun beds in sun or shade . Overall a pleasant experience and was the right place for the ur elderly father to navigate around as it was mostly lever and easy underfoot .

There’s a heated outdoor pool for adults only, well away from the Children’s area and pool. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is quiet. Es gibt zwei Pools, einen für Familien und einen Ruhepool. An beiden Pools gibt es Bars und Restaurants Die Hotelanlage ist ansprechend aufgebaut und ist gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die COVID-Standards werden eingehalten und beim Abendessen gibt es zwei Gruppen. Jeder Gast hat seinen festen Platz über den Zeitraum des Aufenthalts. Ich habe im Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt im komme gerne wieder hier her.

We recently stayed at this hotel for our 28th wedding anniversary, after a bit of a mix up via email regarding a bottle of cava in our room which was sorted out very well we found this hotel a dream, the planting is out of this world! Everything was clean and tidy, staff were just lovely, and breakfast was plentiful! We ate at the "snack bar" a few times and this was also just perfect, really nice to see a decent menu, of interesting well cooked food, served by really pleasant staff, the only thing we would have liked was that this could have been open for an evening drink or light bites, as we both said we would have used this every night as we love to sit out. Our room over looked the pool which was a great place to while away an early evening on our balcony. Cleaning staff made sure everything was just right as well. I would highly recommend this hotel as it was beyong what we expected and we hope to return. Thank you to ALL staff for a wonderful holiday, you are doing amazing!

Hotel de altísimo nivel en todos los aspectos. La habitación grande, cómoda y muy bien cuidada. La terraza grande y agradable. Las piscinas equipadísimas con innumerables tumbonas, jacuzzi y servicio de bar. El buffet variadísimo con detalles de alto nivel. El personal, muy amable y atento. El paisajismo del hotel sorprendente, con estanques, cascadas, peces, pájaros canarios y multitud de especies de flora adornando cada rincón. El estilo arquitectónico muy acertado para el lugar, repartiendo las habitaciones en distintos edificios con pasillos al aire libre. Los servicios de ocio del hotel... completísimos: piscinas, bolera, pingpong, tenis, club infantil, sala de fiestas y hasta un yacimiento arqueológico con restos prehispánicos. Y, por supuesto, el magnífico Spa y el restaurante con estrella michelín, para completar el conjunto. Un hotelazo de 4 estrellas que fácilmente podría pasar por 5, de precio bajo para lo que ofrece y que irremediablemente te deja con las ganas de volver.

We just finished our 8 day stay here. We had two rooms ( double and superior). Lovely hotel and would highly recommend. Rooms: very clean, soft sheets and mattresses comfortable. We asked for extra pillows and slept like kings. Rooms were large and had a gift fruit basket and bottle of wine. In hindsight, I would have just gotten two double rooms. The grounds were impeccable clean. Beautiful garden and the pools big and warm. It was not crowed so no problem finding a place to lay down. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa a must. We loved our massages. The buffet has all you need and it’s better than most hotels we have stayed out. Variety, well stocked and clean. It does get repetitive after a few days and they could improve some of the dishes ( most of the vegetable dishes are with frozen veggies) and the dessert tray is very processed. The hotel really lacks control over drink orders so check your bill before you leave in case you were accidentally charged. We would definitely repeat and recommend. Good value for your money.

Where to start? This hotel and location is briljant. The hotel has beautiful rooms. We had a senior suite with 3 rooms and 2 bathroom in a very well laid down garden. The room even had its own garden. Attention for the details; even the soap is (still) paid attention to. The 2 main pools have salt water and cushioned beds in different corners. Separate towels for the swimming pool are provides. The food in the blue building, pool bar and main building is very good. Go to the 1 Michelin star restaurant if you like. The staff is very friendly and cordial. Receptionists, waiters, cooks, gardeners, pool and cleaning staff ... everybody takes really good care of you. Service is outstanding. Where do you find a hotel with staff bringing you printed boarding passes? I did not check out the bowling, jumping park or spa. Played some nice games of tennis tough. There is a good diving and snorkeling shop at the premises. The hotel is in a windless valley near the sea, beach and beautiful old port of Mogan. Seen a lot of hotels but this is probably one of the best in the world.

Hemos celebrado nuestro 45 aniversario de boda, no tengo palabras para describir la experiencia en este hotel, para empezar, el hotel es una maravilla con un jardín botánico en su interior. Nos tenían decorada la habitación con globos corazón, pétalos, champán, cesta de frutas… En el restaurante El Guayres la cena estrella michelin, fue el colofón a una semana inolvidable. Todo es maravilloso, desde el ambiente hasta el personal, por nombrar a algunos, Marta la gobernanta, José el socorrista, y en especial Eugenio Guadalmez q se desvivió porque la experiencia que vivimos superara nuestra expectativas. Muchas gracias porque estos días hayan sido una de nuestras mejores experiencias!!!

Excellent, despite some changes due to Covid restrictions

We spent two weeks here from the 11 - 25 June, 2021. The hotel was very quiet except at the weekends, with very few UK tourists. We enjoyed the wonderful, peaceful atmosphere on this, our ninth visit to our favourite hotel. I emailed the hotel before departure to request the same junior suite we stayed in during our previous visit, number 9111, and helped by the fact that the hotel occupancy was quite low, our wish was granted. The beautiful refurbishments carried out during the pandemic period have made the hotel even more stunning - no more horrendous gravel sections round the pools, and a more spacious and imaginative arrangement of tables and food stations in the main buffet. There was only one sitting for the evening meal and guests could dine at any time during the period the buffet was open, between 6.30 and 10 pm. We are booked to return later this year in September, and we can't wait! Familiar, friendly faces among the staff, especially Sofia!

La semana pasada estuvimos pasando el fin de semana en el hotel. En principio teníamos nuestras dudas debido a nuestras alergias pero desde el primer momento, nos dieron total seguridad y confianza en todo momento. El Director de alimentos y bebidas, Eugenio Gualdámez se volcó con nosotros y nos transmitió una enorme empatía que agradecimos muchísimo. Mi pareja tiene la enfermedad celíaca y yo soy alérgica a la Proteína de la leche de la vaca (APLV), Frutos secos, algunas frutas, intolerancia a la lactosa. Como sé ve es una alergia complicada para poder comer fuera y ellos se volcaron en todo momento elaborándonos platos especiales sin contaminación cruzada. Queríamos agradecer a Juan Luis, jefe de cocina de noche y a Francisco González, jefe de cocina en los desayunos. Por lo demás, la limpieza, las instalaciones, y confort fueron inmejorables. Deseando volver para pasar unos días con esta gran familia

Hotel maravilloso, increíble solo 4 estrellas. El hotel más bonito donde he estado en mi vida. Las instalaciones hay que verlas para poder opinar. Fantásticas. Limpieza extrema. Piscinas climatizadas con jacuzzi incorporado con agua celeste y transparente. Cada esquina esta cuidada con un enorme esmero y una decoración difícil de calificar. Unsere Zimmer waren Top. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir auf die Poollandschaft und die Bucht bis hin zum Meer blicken. Alles war immer sehr sauber. Das Personal war steht sehr Freundlich. Die vielen Blumen und die Architektur sind wirklich eine Augenfreude. Mir persönlich hat auch der Hoteleigene zugang zur Nekropolis direkt im Hang sehr gefallen. Überall standen Desinfektionsmittel zur Verfügung. Alles wurde sofort wieder desinfiziert.

Al igual que los clientes nos tomamos nuestro tiempo a la hora de ser críticas en relación a sus estancias en los hoteles de Canarias, creo que es necesario poner el valor el buen hacer de hoteles como el suyo. Hoy he acudido con un familiar al Spa Inagua y también hemos almorzado en el buffet. Mis más sinceras felicitaciones por el personal tan atento y servicial con el que cuentan. Más allá de lo bonito que es el hotel, nos hemos sentido como en casa gracias a los empleados del spa, los camareros del buffet (en especial Juani) y los recepcionistas. Tanto ha sido así que me he encargado personalmente de subir a mis historias de instagram imágenes y vídeos de nuestra estancia y se lo he recomendado a todo el que me ha consultado al respecto. Als Gast fällt es schwer zu glauben, auf einer Insel mit Massentourismus zu sein. Die wunderschöne und großzügige Gartenanlage, das Zwitschern der zahlreichen Vögel etc.: paradiesisch! Der Ort des Hotels Mogán wunderbar, etwas abgelegen mit netten Restaurants, hübschen Läden, sauberen Strand, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Für kühlere Nächte erhielten wir einen kleinen Radiator vom Hotel. Frühstück großzügig und vielseitig. Abendessen in Buffetform normal-man kann ja sehr leicht in die umliegenden Restaurants ausweichen. Gerne würden wir wieder kommen.

La estancia fue una maravilla! Nos alojamos mi pareja (ambos residentes de la isla) y yo en la habitación Luna de Miel, que incluye jacuzzi en la terraza, y fue genial. La habitación tiene todo lo necesario, incluido una nevera por si quieres llevar algo, y el jacuzzi estaba muy limpio y con una agradable temperatura para no salir de él en otoño/invierno. Tumbonas muy cómodas también. El personal muy atento desde el primer momento, nos ayudaron a llevar el equipaje, nos explicaron cualquier duda, etc. Las medidas de coronavirus se cumplen, te sientes segur@. El desayuno y la cena también nos encantaron! Variedad, calidad y buena presentación. Ubicación cercana a la zona del puerto (unos 10-15 minutos caminando). El hotel tiene muchas especies de flora que merece la pena ir viendo mientras paseas. Para repetir!

Aniversario de Película!!!!

Mi marido organizó por nuestro aniversario un fin de semana en este Hotel y de verdad que desde el minuto uno todo fue fabuloso. La Suite Honeymoon es espectacular, así como todas las instalaciones y jardines que tiene el hotel, puedes dar largos paseos y detenerte en cientos de rincones. Al llegar nos habían preparado la cama con cisnes y pétalos y por la noche al llegar de la cena nos habían dejado una cesta de frutas, champán y bombones. He de decir que el trato de D. Eugenio fue insuperable, en todo momento ayudó a mi marido a tenerlo todo a nuestro gusto y fue atento durante toda la estancia. He de destacar que el buffet y calidad de la comida son de 10!! Se saborea la buena materia prima y ofrecen muchísima variedad. Los desayunos son de película, no sabes ni que elegir porque quieres probarlo todo jejeje (así me vine con algún kilo de más, pero sin duda de felicidad! Recomendamos este hotel 100%, por sus espacios, su tranquilidad, su buen hacer del personal y su fantástica comida. Mil gracias. Estoy segura de que volveremos ;)

Excelente trato de todo el personal y en particular, todo el que compone restaurante y cafeteria comandado por el Sr. Eugenio. La comida bien presentada de calidad y una gran variedad. Amabilidad infinita y un servicio digno de elogios. Medidas de seguridad Covid-19 que te dejan muy tranquilo. Estuvimos el fin de semana anterior al puente de octubre y hemos vuelto con toda la familia para pasar el puente. El trato en recepción del diez, además el día de salida nos permitieron quedarnos hasta la 18h. Hemos descubierto este hotel este año y será uno de nuestra referencia para nuestras vacaciones. This hotel with apartments is beyond beautiful. The pictures do not do the luxurious reception foyer justice, particular when the sun streams through the colourful roof window and illuminates the interior in a rainbow of beauty. The staff throughout the complex are super friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and our balcony overlooked the large pool and towards the sea. The pool and surrounding areas were also clean and well maintained with plenty of loungers and parasols. The lifeguards on duty every day we’re also very attentive and helpful. We have just returned after 11 nights in September 2020 during COVID restrictions and the cleanliness and sanitation facilities throughout the complex reassured us. I would also say the entire area of Puerto de Mogán has excellent sanitation stations everywhere and face masks were worn by everyone - I felt very safe and secure within the current pandemic

Our fourth year in a row of staying at this fabulous hotel. Loved the changes made to the swimming pool, the gravel is gone replaced with tile and artificial grass and the night lighting fantastic. The revamped restaurant was also good. Food was up to the usual great standard and the staff as friendly and helpful as ever. The covid precautions were always observed by guests and staff, and understandably not all the usual facilities were available but it didn't detract from a lovely relaxing trip. We will be back.

Me and my boyfriend very satisfied with hotel .Beautiful area with a lot of exotic plants and 3 swimming pools .Short way to the sea takes approximately 5 minutes.Food was more than good with a lot of varieties of courses ,veggies ,delicious desserts and local vine . Truly kind ,friendly and polite staff what make good work every singe day and are always there if you need help .Rooms are pretty big and comfortable. We stayed at Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa for the first time and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel’s architecture is unique and charming. The layout of the hotel in combination with nice gardens gives it a cozy and intimate feeling. You don’t get the feeling that this is a 487-room hotel when you walk throughout the complex. The hotel complex is well maintained and clean both inside and outside. We visited the hotel during high season (Feb 2020). We didn’t experience queues or crowds anywhere. No problem finding a table during breakfast or dinner – or finding a vacant sunbed. All the staff we met during our stay were very nice and friendly. A very enjoyable winter break

My wife and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the Cordial Mohan Playa in January. We found the staff and service to be very good. The hotel has nearly 500 rooms but there was always a sense of space as the site is so extensive. There are two large swimming pools with a number of loungers both in sun and shade to relax on. The breakfast was excellent as there was so much choice. We stayed bed and breakfast and this allowed us to walk down to the port and marina in the evening where there is a number of good restaurants. The facilities in the hotel are very good. Our room was very comfortable. We attended pilates classes three times and played tabletennis. An interesting and unusual feature of the hotel is an archaeological site in the grounds. The short walk there offers an excellent view of the port and the valley where the hotel is situated. The hotel is very well located. It is less than 10 minutes to walk to the marina where there is a very attractive old town. The bus station is about five minutes from the hotel. This has a regular service to towns on the south and east of the island. I would recommend the hotel, the town and Gran Canaria as a great place for a relaxing holiday and some winter sun.

This was my first time to Gran Canaria and could not be happier with the hotel. The settling was lovely with beautiful gardens and mountains as a back drop. We were half board in a superior room. The food was always good with lots of variety every day. All the staff were all very helpful and friendly. I celebrated my 60th while I was there. They made it very special for me and something I will never forget. The hotel is ideally situated so you are a short walk to the beach and marina. We would recommend this hotel with no hesitation what so ever. Can not wait to return.

Very nice room away from hotel reception, but all amenities within easy reach. Pools were warm and used them most days. Hotel is set within lovely large garden area and there is always a quiet spot to yourself. Attended the little church within the grounds on Sunday, a service led by an evangelist group who were lovely. Restaurant was spacious with a good variety of food available. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly.Rooms where clean and maintained that way. Macarena, who worked in the restaurant and reception bar was particularly good, professional ,friendly and helpful!

We stayed here for 10 days and although I have often said that ‘hotels aren’t my thing’ I enjoyed staying here. The staff were all well trained, helpful and polite, the hotel was immaculate with beautifully kept gardens and swimming pools. We were very happy with the cleanliness and standard of our room. Having chosen half board, when I prefer to eat out, I found that I looked forward to the buffet each evening which had a large choice of food so I would go half board again. We would definately return and I have recommended this hotel to my in-laws as I am sure they would enjoy it too.

We have just returned from a lovely week on half board plus at this hotel. It surpassed our expectations in every respect. The location is great as it’s a few minutes walk to the beautiful harbour of Porto Mogán; the staff at the hotel are all welcoming, friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble; the rooms are spacious and spotless with all the usual amenities; two very large pools that are heated and have plenty of sun beds. There is a very nice spa which have treatments at fairly reasonable prices. I’ve saved the best til last ...the food is superb! Such a variety and all top quality. There is a really sensible system in place so that on the first night you wait to be seated, and then the second night you choose your table which is then yours for the rest of your stay. We chose half board plus which meant house wines, water, beer etc were included with the meal, and really pleased to have the option to change from evening meal to lunch which made the whole thing more flexible. We loved this hotel and plan to return!

This is just a quick review of our latest long stay at this wonderful hotel. We love every aspect of the hotel and it is nice to see the positive improvements each year. The dining room has been partially renovated and it looks superb. Also as regular gym users it is nice to see new bikes added. As ever the real standout for us are the excellent staff who are always working hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. The New Years Eve dinner and fireworks were first class. We had a fantastic evening thanks to the huge efforts of all the staff. We look forward to the rest of our stay and have already booked again for next year.

Cordial Mogan Playa is located close to beautiful, flowery Puerto de Mogan. Ving classed it as 5-star, we thought irt was even better... Inside there were like a botanical garden of South American quality with trees, bushes and flowers in abundance. Never seen anything like it - add to that extremely clean and spotless! Restaurants were great, the poolareas also,and the whole hotel had sort of a shine on it. Extremely clean, weill kept. But the staff working there was the best we´ve ever experienced anywhere in the world - friendly, helpful, courteous and always with a "hola" and a smile on their faces! They were obviously well trained but did their job with a lot of warmth and heart! Never felt as good anywhere, marvellous! Special mention goes to Eladio (reception(, Enrique (reception), Andrea (restaurant) as well as Jenny (Mgr.) and Fayva (ass. Mgr) who made my birthday a day to remember!

Booked this hotel for a little winter sun, stayed for five nights in room 2407, really nice room, very clean and serviced every day. The hotel is in a good location, five minutes walk to the very pretty harbour and beach area. We both loved this hotel, the standard of food and service was excellent and i would recommend this place to anyone. The front of house staff were all very friendly and helpful, it is approximately 45 minutes from the airport, if you are looking for a good hotel in a good location give this place a try, I do not think you would be dissatisfied

Came here six years ago, and by chance we took this as a late booking as we wanted nine nights. Still a great hotel, friendly and genuine service all round. The layout and gardens is what make the hotel for us, relaxing atmosphere and the pool areas don't get over crowded. Food is very good and tho buffet in evening still feels like a restaurant, wide choices and breakfast sets you up for the day only needing a snack. Will return if it meant to be. Recommend.

We spent our second 2 week stay at this hotel. We were allocated a well apointed room in Block 2. Bottles of water were provided for 2 days only. No hardship - a supermarket is a short walk away. Reception staff very efficient and helpful. Our room was large and very comfortable. Cleaned very well each day. Fresh towels every day and bed linen changed every 3 days. As returning guests, we were left a welcome bottle of cava, plus some fruit & a delicious chocolate cake. Yummy! The dining room staff were all very friendly and helpful, under the management of Diego. This gentleman is an extremely polite & pleasant professional, who knows his staff & how to run The Larder smoothly and efficiently. We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary there and booked a table at Fellini's. Diego had arranged a bottle of cava and a delicious Canarian platter for starters. A lovely surprise and memory. Our thanks to fellow guests Michael & Pia who surprised us with golden balloons -one 5 & one 0 - which floated up from our table. We had a spacious balcony - plenty of room for 2 loungers & a table & 2 chairs. We love the space this hotel offers. Evening entertainment was mixed, for our tastes, but in the main very good. A short walk to the pretty port (or a taxi at 3.5 euros) is worth a visit. We go to this hotel for peace & quiet and to be looked after. We get that and will definitely return

Such a fabulous holiday

Our experience at the hotel was outstanding from the moment we walked in, so much so that we had just one day out, and our hire car spent much of the time in the parking garage. Our only issue was arriving in the dark we found it hard to locate our room - until a member of staff stepped in and took us to the door. We had a junior suite, great location, moments from the restaurant and pool, yet still quiet. Ours had a lovely outside space and was beautifully maintained. From the back door, it is an easy stroll down to Puerto de Mogan and the great selection of resaurants. The hotel is huge, yet never seemd that busy (and it was half term), often we had the end of the pool to ourselves. Plenty of sunbeds, lovely towels and cushions provided. Aqua gym was fun and helped work off some of the breakfast buffet! The spa was fabulous, and our daughter was able to have her first treatment, a massage alongside mine, which at the age of 12 she loved. The gardens are beautiful, and everywhere is spotless. On our last day, our late flight meant we had access to a free courtesy room, which meant we could enjoy the pool and sunshine for a few more hours after we had checked out. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is fantastic. The staff are so very welcoming, polite, fun and can’t do enough to help you. There is so much space and so much to do or you can relax by the pool. There are always plenty of loungers around both pool areas. There is so much choice at meal times, it’s self service but never over crowded. Entertainment every evening. Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean and tidy including rooms. Every time we have been we have had such a wonderful time.

Das Hotel fügt sich wunderbar in die Landschaft ein. Es ist eine wahre" Erhol-Oase" Der Wunderschöne Garten sucht seines Gleichen.Im Kakteen Garten fühlt man sich nach Mexico versetzt. Die Junior Suiten liegen ruhig in der Gartenzone. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer und der ganzen Anlage ist kaum noch zu übertreffen. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hat täglich überrascht. Excellent hotel and grounds

This was our second visit to this Hotel and fourth to the chain. This time we opted for a suite the extra room and larger balcony was great. We stayed on a Half Board Plus basis, breakfast was excellent everything you could have wanted and more. Dinner was in a larger restaurant the choice was good and plentiful. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful a special thank you to our maid Anna and Sofia in the poolside restaurant at lunch time. The Hotel is kept very clean and the grounds are amazing there is a small team of gardeners that do a fantastic job and deserve a pat on the back. The location of the hotel is excellent close to the harbour, bars and shops, there is a large market on a Friday and a smaller one on Monday. We hope to return some time in the future.

We rerurned to the Hotel, once again, for our one months stay in September, following our months visit in May. Everything about the place is excellent. The room,the food, the friendly staff,the gardens, the location......We have recommended the Hotel to several friends who,without exception, have described it as a "gem". We particularly enjoy the evening shows provided by the resident Animation Team, they are very professionally performed with fantastic costumes.Cannot wait to return !

Todo de maravilla: las piscinas, la comida (en media pensión), los jardines...pero lo mejor el trato de la gente que trabaja allí que te hacen sentir como en casa: Sofía en el bar de la piscina, el chico que hace las tortillas en el desayuno siempre con una sonrisa en la cara (echaremos de menos ese desayuno), Andrea, Melodie, Alejandro...y más que me dejo. Este año nos tocaba más miniclub que otros años al ir con dos niños pequeños y no querían salir de allí, sobre todo si estaba Monika. Adrián y Alba (y sus padres)

I have just come back from a short 5 day break at the Cordial Mogan Playa and felt that I needed to write a short review. Hotel was recommended by friends and certainly lived up to it. The hotel was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in, could not fault anything. We went for a superior room which was fantastic with its own private terrace. The standard of both cleanliness and comfort was second to non. The food was great with plenty to choose from during our half board stay. The staff were friendly and efficient and couldn't do enough for us. All this, along with a great location, meant that we both came home feeling refreshed and wanting to return as soon as we could. Please try this hotel, you won't be disappointed

Well where to start? First of all I regard any negative views those people must have been very unlucky or are extremely picky. Be fore we travel I email the hotel to request a room on a high floor and that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during the stay, on arrival we were greeted by friendly staff from the start, our porter took us to the room, on the way he said we had been given one of the best rooms. In the room we had been left a voucher for the spa, a bottle of champagne and fruit for our anniversary, a very nice touch by the hotel. We stayed half board, food was buffet style and freshly cook in front of you, the choice was very good as was the quality. The hotel and its ground were stunning, including its own archaeological site discovered when the hotel was being built, you can have a tour around it free and arranged by the staff, worth a look if you like that sort of thing. There’s shows in the evening which are great. There s a supermarket, shopping centre and bars over the road the outlaws country bar was very good. It a short walk to the port where there’s a good selection of shops and bars, all pretty good. The harbour area is very picturesque, There’s ferry’s from the port and boat trips, the resort is small and smart. On Friday there’s a market that stretches from above the hotel all the way down to the harbour a lot of walking! We stayed here in sept temp about 30 deg all week

Alles was gewoon perfect; immense keuze bij de lekkere buffetten (ontbijt en avondmaal), supervriendelijke personeel, super behulpzaam, prachtige gebouwen, propere zwembaden, voldoende ligzetels, ideale ligging 200 m van de zee aan mooie promenade. We have just come back from a ten day holiday in this magnificent hotel . This should definitely be rated as 5* not four. The hotel grounds are amazing. Little pockets of heaven wherever you go . The staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of your way to make your stay perfect . Great choices of food at breakfast and dinner . The entertainment was outstanding. The hotel reception area looks so grand . The beach and marina are only a five minute walk away and there is a supermarket opposite . Great location for everything. We will definitely be coming back here . Thank you for making our holiday so special.

This was our second visit, the last being 5 years ago. Not normally returning to the same place twice, we made an exception to return to The Cordial Mogan Playa as we hoped to recreate our first visit that was so memorable and restful. We were not disappointed. This is such a beautiful hotel with amazing food, staff and facilities. On this visit we opted for a suite that afforded us to use the blue restaurant for breakfast. This restaurant is quite and so chilling in the morning. There is lots to do depending on your appetite for fun. Pilates and yoga kept my wife happy, kids club for the children and tranquillity for me. The complex was not very busy during our stay which made our trip perfect. You will not be disappointed

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einer sehr schönen gepflegten Parkanlage. Zimmer waren auch zufriedenstellend mit einem großem Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Sämtliches Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr sehr lecker und überaus vielfältig und ausreichend. Meinen nächsten Urlaub werde ich bestimmt auch wieder im Cordial Mogan verbringen und genießen!!! :-) :-) :-)

2 semaines 1/2 a l hotel cordial mogan playa a gran canaria. Hotel tres propre avec un charme fou, bien situe ( proche de la plage et des commerces), personnel de grande qualite et toujours souriant, grande chambre propre, restauration variée. L hotel est a lui seul un jardin botanique incroyable. Tout etait top!!! Ce que je retiendrai est vraiment la gentillesse du personnel et leur bonne humeur en toute circonstance. Je n ai jamais vu cela dans un autre pays!!

Als wir hier ankamen, wurden wir freundlich begrüßt mit einem Sekt oder Orangensaft. Die Kommunikation ist kein Problem, endweder in Englisch oder ganz und gar in Deutsch. Alle sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich auch um ihre Gäste. Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden, wenn gewünscht, jeden Tag gereinigt. Die Anlage bietet 2 Pools, Tennis, Bowling, eine archäologische Ausgrabung mit super Aussicht auf den Hafen, einen Fitnessraum, einer Bar und mehr. Dank der Größe, ist es nie überfüllt gewesen und es verläuft sich sehr gut. Das Personal in der Cafeteria ist auf zack und sehr freundlich. Dank der unfassbar vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen, bietet das Hotel schöne Möglichkeiten für Bilder und somit schöne Erinnerungen. Das Meer ist ca. 10-15 min Fußweg entfernt, was nicht schlimm ist, da die Straße dorthin mit ein paar Fitnessgeräten aufgebessert wurde. Alles in allem ein super Erholungsort.

Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable, me ha encantado todo desde principio a fin. El entorno es idilico, un paraiso lleno de naturaleza. Piscinas grandes y cristalinas. La atmosfera del hotel es de calma y sosiego y el trato del personal exquisito. Los jardines son los mejores que he visto en ningun hotel antes. Lujoso, tranquilo, acogedor, paradisiaco... dificil de explicar con palabras, lo mejor es vivirlo por uno mismo! El Spa muy tranquilo y acogedor, desconexion total! Sin duda volveré!

Ein top gepflegtes Hotel in einem botanischen Garten, der seinesgleichen sucht. Es ist an Charme kaum zu überbieten. So etwas muss man gesehen und erlebt haben. Dazu zwei tolle Poolanlagen in einem weitläufigen Gelände sowie einem Tennisplatz und einem Riesenschach. Außerdem Kinderanimation und Fitnessstudio. Der Spa-Bereich ist einzigartig. Die Freundlichkeit und der Service sind nicht zu überbieten. Hier hat man wirklich Urlaub. Allerdings nicht für Weightwatchers geeignet, denn die Küche zaubert die leckersten Speisen hervor, die man sich denken kann. Da kann wirklich keiner widerstehen. Dieses Gesamtpaket ist phantastisch und jeden Euro wert. Sogar eine kleine Kapelle auf dem Gelände. Gerne jederzeit wieder ohne zu überlegen

Nach dem bereits 10. Aufenthalt ist der Charme vom Aufenthalt immer noch nicht verflogen. Ich kann immer wieder dieses Hotel nur loben. Angefangen vom Check-in, über den Service des Koffertransport ins Zimmer, das tolle Frühstück, die tollen Zimmer, die sehr schönen Pools, und das Abendessen. Toll ist es, dass das Hotelmanagement jeden Freitag bei einem Hotelempfang anwesend ist. So ist es möglich persönlich über Dinge die schön sind sich zu unterhalten. Ebenfalls ist es nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich, das die Führung selbst im Restaurant frühstücken geht. Dort ist mir aufgefallen, das hier immer eine persönliche Ansprache mit den Angestellten und den Gästen stattfindet. Toll !!

Fantástico hotel en el Puerto de Mogán. Me encantó su arquitectura colonial y sus jardines con plantas autóctonas. Además los jardines estaban muy bien cuidados. Te da la sensación que estas en una hacienda colonial. Es un gran complejo pero bien distribuido. Las habitaciones son grandes y cómodas. El personal exquisito, muy amable y atento. Maravillosas y grandes piscinas. Tiene una gran variedad de restaurantes tipo buffet, bares y un restaurante de alta cocina, Los Guayres, que si no tiene una estrella Michelín está a punto de conseguirla, calidad sublime y presentaciones exquisitas. Localización muy buena, al lado del pintoresco pueblo y Puerto de Mogán. En resumen, un hotel de 4 estrellas ¡SUPERIOR!

Ein Hotel in dem man gerne Urlaub macht und sich wohlfühlt ! We had a 1 weeks stay at the Hotel Cordial Playa in late April 19 . I can't recommend the hotel highly enough - top quality facilities & excellent staff. We were on B&B as we like walking out & eating out in the evenings .( The are a wide range of high quality restaurants in the town 5 mins walk away ) . The food at breakfast was outstanding quality in a lovely setting . In fact our bedroom , pool area's , bars , gardens , walkways everything was to a very high standard . Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Mogan itself is a lovely little place and seems to enjoy a microclimate: we had drizzly clouds on arrival at the airport and deep blue clear skies at Mogan. The grounds of the hotel are really well looked after and the plants (a wide variety of palms and cacti) are really special for those who come from countries where they are not found. The hotel looked after two toddlers very well, but it would also suit kids several years older too. If the price is right, I would suggest booking one of the junior suites. They're in small blocks at the south of the site and benefit from their own breakfast restaurant, quiet surroundings and proximity to the beach and town.

We have usually travelled to Tenerife and at 5 star hotels, so this was a bit of a gamble. The hotel was just wonderful. It was like holidaying in a tropical garden - the grounds are stunning. The rooms were a little outdated but clean and spacious. The food was AMAZING and far surpassed the 5 star hotels we had been to (The Gran - Costa Adeje, the year before - where the food was appalling). There was so much choice and the everything tasted fresh and was cooked as if we were in a paid for restaurant. We sat by the waterfall, which made for a truly special dining experience. The staff were wonderful - everyone was friendly and helpful. The entertainment was just OK, but we chose to wander into Puerto Mogan on the evenings which was just a 10 minute stroll. Cant recommend this lovely hotel enough. Thank you to all the staff who made it such a lovely, relaxing holiday.

Este hotel es extraordinario, su jardín es tan grande y variado que su colorido transmite paz, ideal para quitarte el estrés. I have stayed at many 4 & 5 star hotels but what makes the Cordial Mogan Playa stand out is its surroundings and the magnificence of the hotel and its grounds. I have not seen so many different palms and plants each carefully labelled with their botanic name. The second stand out feature are the staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. We have visited for a number of times now and each time the staff remember who you are and what services make you happy.

we stayed last week with our family (grandparents and 3 yr old and 2 yr old) for 2nd time and cannot recommend the hotel highly enough to anyone looking for superb family time. From very start to finish, everything was nothing short of amazing. As a family, we own and run hotels in Ireland so know how difficult it is to get every member of the team working to such a high standard and provide such wonderful service but every single member of the team were better than the next. there is literally something for everyone with superb food, amazing room types, pool facilities which you could stay in all day (....and on most days we did!!!), bowling alleys, trampoline park, giant chess boards, kids club, enteratiment, amusement arcade, ping pong, spa etc etc. the resort is as clean a resort as i've seen and special mention to the entire housekeeping and maintenance team alongside Claudia and her reception team and Jaeaui in breakfast (apologies for poor spelling!) and of course, Jose the GM who clearly steering an awesome team! whilst as a parent, it was amazing for us, i would also highly recommend to people without kids who just want great break as in addition to hotel, is superbly located close to lots shops, restaurants and beach. overall 11/10 and we'll definitely be back soon

We had a 10 day stay here and it has been fantastic. The hotel is clean, beautiful feature gardens and pool. We stayed on a superior room with terrace which came with a fantastic view of the small town. We visited the fantastic pool (always clean and well maintained, the SPA which was worth every penny and the great and variety buffet restaurant. Have been before and will definitely be back!

Espectacular en todo, pero especialmente destacar la atención y disposición del personal. He venido con mi hija de 6 años una semana en mayo, destacar que el hotel tiene dos piscinas enormes y con agua a 27 grados. Las habitaciones muy amplias y con buen baño y terraza. El buffet espectacular y super completo (yo he venido con 1/2 pensión y puedes cambiar la cena por la comida cuando quieras) WiFi perfecto, parking gratuito. La animación para los niños genial, con mini disco, club infantil, bolera, camas elásticas..... El hotel tipo colonial, con unos jardines maravillosos y spa por si quieres un buen masaje En resumen volveré y por lo que veo hay mucha familias que repiten. Además junto a un enclave magnífico como es el puerto de Mogan a 5' saliendo del hotel, con una buena playa sin masificar y todos los servicios. OJO no os perdáis al caer la tarde un fantastico cocktail o un gin tonic de las manos de CARMEN MORENO en el bar Sama de la piscina

We stayed in a junior suite at this hotel for a week in April/May and loved it. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The accommodation was superb. Rooms kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was of good quality with so much choice on offer. I love the way that a few stray cats are allowed to live in the hotel grounds and are well looked after there. They stayed near the feeding station and didn't come anywhere near our apartment. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

This was our first visit to Hotel Cordial Mogan Playa. When we arrived we were allocated a room on the ground floor which we weren't happy with, it was a bit dark and the staff did everything they could to help us change (despite a shift change!). We were settled into a room which was perfect for us. We have visited the Canaries a number of times and this is the best hotel we have stayed at. Not the highest starred or the most expensive. The pools are great and properly heated which is important in April. The breakfast was as good as any I've had in a hotel. We were staying in a suite so we were in a different breakfast area. Lunch and dinners were fine but not spectacular. Although if you are a fussy foodie why would you sign up for buffet meals? We often bought from local shops for lunch. The hotel is a short walk to the seafront and marina which are charming with many bars and restaurants. The entertainments team were very good especially if you are travelling with a family. Overall 5* for couples and families. Not recommended for people more at home in the clubs of Maspalomas.

Nos hemos sentido como en casa, en familia, íbamos tres personas pero la familia creció nada más entrar a este maravilloso hotel. El trato exquisito del personal, las instalaciones impecables que pronto se hacen presentes y cercanas por su comodidad y limpieza, y unos jardines exuberantes perfectamente mantenidos que vuelven a conectarte con la naturaleza que tanto se añora en nuestro día a día en la ciudad. Desayuno y cena perfectos, con un servicio muy bueno, y calidad y variedad para comer lo que cada uno prefiera. La piscina de la que nuestra hija no quería salir y la posibilidad de estar con ella cómodamente por la temperatura del agua, y la calidad de la misma perfectamente tratada. El entorno, con las hermosas rocas de la montaña se conserva y forma parte de un bonito paisaje que debería mantenerse preservado. Añadiríamos mucho más, pero merece la pena que se dejen sorprender por este lugar en el sur de la isla de Gran Canaria.

We have been to Gran Canaria many many times over the year but have never stayed on Mogan although we have been here on days out. This hotel is absolutely perfect. Excellent rooms. Fantastic setting with spacious gardens and two brilliant pools. The restaurants food is excellent and the service is so good, nothing is too much trouble for all the staff who are all very courteous. We are still here now having arrived last Friday. We are really enjoying our stay and we will definitely be returning. It is a perfect place to stay and it is a very easy few minutes walk in to beautiful Mogan.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Hotel Cordial Playa Morgan. I though the hotel was full of charm in a lovely slightly old fashioned way. The thing that stands that really stood out about this hotel is the staff, some have clearly been there years and great return visitors with hugs and smiles. We stayed in a junior suite which I can recommend. The only down side being the lack of view, but the sheltered terrace was lovely in the evening sun. The food overall was great, the bar snacks at the children’s pool could be better however. The kids entertainment was not for our kids but the team were popular and full of enthusiasm! I loved this hotel, it’s great for families and very relaxing

Just returned. home after our 9th visit to this wonderful hotel. Once again had an amazing 10 night holiday and just love it more and more each time we stay. The food is as good as ever, the staff are all lovely and the standard of cleanliness everywhere is brilliant.. The bar in the reception area has a lovely atmosphere and is a great place to have a pre dinner drink - I must mention Henri - what a lovely man he is, so very friendly and helpful (especially when I wanted to try a certain orange coloured drink that a guest had and he said if I didn't like it I could have another drink instead) Little things like this all add to the whole wonderful experience of holidaying at this brilliant hotel. We will hopefully be returning in October for visit number 10.

Wir waren Ende November für ein paar sonnige Tage dort. Vom Empfang an gaben wir uns sehr wohl und als guter Gast gefühlt. Das Zimmer und das Hotel insgesamt und die Anlagen und Pools sind sauber und ordentlich. Mogan liegt zwar etwas abgelegen und weiter weg vom. Flughafen, dafür ist es nicht so turbulent wie andere Orte auf der Insel. Wer es etwas ruhiger mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au moins de juin 2018. L'hôtel est très beau, très agréable. Mention spéciale pour les belles piscines et les nombreux jardins très bien entretenus. Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir et goûter. Tout le personnel est aux petits soins pour vous. Je ne poste jamais d'avis. Mais j'ai été obligé de saluer le service offert. J'avais perdu un disque dur portable avec beaucoup de données personnelles. Quelques mois plus tard, ils ont retrouvé mon disque dur dans l'hôtel. Ils ont pris le temps de le fouiller pour retrouver une adresse mail à qui écrire. Et ils me l'ont renvoyé gratuitement en Belgique!

Nos alojamos apenas 2 días (una escapada de fin de semana) y no podemos estar más contentos con la estancia. El personal del hotel es muy amable, tuvieron detalles con nosotros por estar de aniversario que no esperábamos, las instalaciones están súper limpias y son preciosas, con mucha riqueza de flora, todo con muy buen gusto. Además cuentan con una bolera gratis durante casi dos horas al día donde disfrutamos de un rato estupendo. La comida exquisita, nos alojamos en régimen de media pensión y tanto el desayuno como la cena muy variados, sabrosos y libres de grasas. Me volvería a alojar allí con los ojos cerrados, y espero poder volver el año que viene porque me quedé con ganas de más.

Wir sind schon zum vierten Mal in diesem Hotel und immer noch begeistert. Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderbaren Anlage und lädt ein, auch mal die kleinen Ecken mit exotischen Blumen, Palmen und kleinen Wasserfällen, die aus den Felsen fließen, zu erkunden. Man sollte den Fotoapparat nicht vergessen. Zwischendurch bietet es sich an, an beiden Pools einen Drink zu nehmen oder einfach nur so sich auf eine Bank zu setzen und das tolle Ambiente zu genießen. Der Service ist hier ausgezeichnet, man wird verwöhnt. Das Essen ist vielseitig und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Es gibt eine kleine Bücherei mit Lesestoff in mehreren Sprachen, einen Standort mit mehreren PCs, Möglichkeiten, sich sportlich zu betätigen, kostenloses WLAN ist selbstverständlich.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Any minor issues with dealt with immediately. The facilities were immaculate and the food (we stayed half board) was fantastic, with superb variety and quality of dishes. The pool area in particular was excellent with towels supplied to guests daily for the sun loungers. There was plenty to do in the hotel with evening shows and also a gym and spa available to guests

We're back home from our 4th visit at this wonderful hotel. Over the years the service and excellence has never fainted - it has even gotten better!! Never thought that would be possible :-). When you enter the premises, it's like you are entering another time zone, so quite and relaxing. Food is excellent - diner you can chose between 5 different kinds of meat prepared for you (showcooking) or 3 sorts of Fish (also showcooking). There are several prepared dishes, several types of pasta, pizza, salads, ... I challenge you to try to taste everything you see in the restaurant! The staff is always very friendly and helpful, but this year a special remark for one very special lady : Monika from reception. She is so kind and made our holiday very special. See you all next year !

Une surprise devais nous attendre. Partant de marseille France pour cet hotel en demi pension pour une semaine. Agreablement surpris par la beaute de cet établissement. Cadre enchanteur, chambres tres luxueuxes, literie parfaite. La restauration un régal, voir même trop top. Tout y est pour un confort optimum. Prêt de serviette, parking voitures, boisson offerte a notre arrivee. Un hotel 4 étoiles comme il n'y en a peu. Un grand merci a toute l'organisation, ne changer rien, a conseiller.

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines dans ce splendide hôtel. De style canarien, c’est un accord parfait entre habitations et nature luxuriante. Les chambres sont grandes et la literie est de haute qualité. Le personnel est très gentils, à l’écoute et très serviable, la plupart parlent français. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est MAGNIFIQUE! C’est très spacieux et très bon! Il y a 2 autres restaurants mais très franchement, nous avons mangés les 14 jours dans le restaurant principal. Il y a 2 superbes piscines, très grandes avec de nombreux transat. Pas la peine de prendre des serviettes de plage, l’hôtel vous en prête gratuitement! Vous pouvez les échanger à tout moment. Il y a de nombreuses animations autant à la piscine qu’à l’intérieur de l’hôtel (club enfant, bowling, court de tennis,...). Les plantes sont magnifiques. Cerise sur le gâteau: un petit déjeuner à emporter le jour jour du départ si vous partez tôt. Nous retournerons très vite dans cet hôtel!

En ningún momento, notamos masificación ni ruido excesivo estábamos en la piscina tranquila); los socorristas estaban muy atentos. Todo el personal muy amable y atento. Nos alojamos en una habitación superior bastante grande con vistas a la piscina. Camas confortables y baño muy amplio. La limpieza correcta. El desayuno y la cena muy variada y de calidad más que aceptable. Altamente recomendable el snack "La Fula" donde nos atendió Sofía con profesionalidad y simpatía y donde los calamares rebozados con gofio o la hamburguesa casera son un placer. Nos gustó tanto el hotel que ampliamos una noche más. Altamente recomendable

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and we weren't disappointed. I took my wife and 2 adult daughters with me to celebrate my birthday this year and we had a great time. The reception on arrival was so friendly and helpful, allocating us really nice quite rooms overlooking the spa area. The rooms were spacious and kept spotlessly clean by the hard working maids. The restaurant staff were very efficient and friendly and we were allocated a nice table in the conservatory for our stay. The food was of a very good standard and variety which changed daily. The pool area was also kept very clean with clean towels available daily. We would definitely return to this lovely hotel again.

Wir waren schon mehrfach hier in diesem Hotel. Und es ist eines der wenigen, die man immer wieder auf's neue liebt. Es ist immer sauber, das Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen und der tropische Flair in der Anlage ist top. Die sämtlichen Bediensteten sind alle freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sprachbarrieren existieren nicht. Und dann noch ein Spaziergang in das "Venedig von Gran Canaria" macht den erholsamen Urlaub perfekt. Das kleine Dorf Playa de Mogán ist ein ruhiger Ort in dem man einfach die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Für Leute, die es ruhig lieben, ist es hier nur zu empfehlen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Hemos pasado 1 semana en familia y ha sido de sobresaliente. Destacar la amabilidad de todo el personal, sobre todo en el buffet de desayuno y de almuerzo que nos tocó en el restaurante pequeño. Gran variedad en la comida y en nuestro caso que uno de nosotros es celíaco, la cocina se preocupaba de hacer platos especiales que aseguraran la no contaminación cruzada y en el desayuno una gran variedad de productos. Nos hospedamos en una habitación superior que cuenta con una gran terraza. Zonas verdes por donde pasear sin tener que salir del hotel.

hacia tiempo que no nos sentíamos tan a gusto en un hotel. A pesar de ser un hotel muy grande, yo diría un complejo, ya que dispone de 1000 habitaciones , no tienes la sensación de multitud. Tienes tantas zonas diferenciadas que puedes encontrar tranquilidad cuando lo desees. La ubicación es buena, siempre es mejor el sur de la isla por el viento. En el norte puede resultar molesto.Todas las habitaciones disponen de terraza con buenas vistas ( nosotros reservamos tarde y teniamos el spa delante). Nos sorprendió que hagan un tour por las entrañas del hotel, entrando literalmente a la cocina, lavandería y demás. La logística es impresionante. Hablando del buffete, nunca habia visto nada comparable con la variedad y calidad que tienen. Quiero hacer mención al servicio de restaurante que es maravilloso, muy profesional en general , y en especial a Ailin y Sofía que se encargaban de la cena y desayuno respectivamente en la terraza de fumadores, ya que dispone de salón interior y ésta que menciono.En general es más que recomendable

This is an amazing hotel , set in beautiful tropical gardens, lovely traditional Spanish hotel which we could not fault at all! The food is excellent, you are spoilt for choice and they were constantly replacing empty dishes! Different carved meats each night delicious. If you don’t want to eat there in the evening you can swap for lunch which is buffet style again but equally as nice. Overall this is an outstanding hotel and will definitely be coming here again.

Pasamos unos días en este fantástico hotel debido a que nos casamos en la isla de Gran Canaria . Las habitaciones cómodas , limpias y con unos detallazos por parte del hotel por la boda dignos de agradecer . Las instalaciones son muy buenas , lleno de jardines , piscinas , cada rincón del hotel tiene su encanto . Lo mejor la comida , espectacular . Tanto desayuno como cena , muy abundante , variedad y sobre todo exquisito . Quizá como punto negativo pongo que en las piscinas muchos clientes hacían uso de colchonetas y juegos de pelota que resultaban bastante incómodos. Recomiendo el hotel al 100%.

Hotel espectacular, tanto por sus instalaciones como por su personal. Yo soy celíaca y desde el primer momento todo el personal de restauración estaba informado. El metre y el director me explicaron y ofrecieron todo lo que podía comer (que era casi todo! Pasta especial, todo tipo de bollería, postres, etc) además de tener toda la comida del buffet señalada con los alérgenos. Las camareras siempre atentas y cuidandome. un personal muy preparado y detallista. Nos hicieron la estancia muy agradable, repetiré seguro!!

En septiembre del 2017, estuvimos con mi hija y mis dos nietas, y fue tal la satisfacción de la estancia que mis propias nietas quisieron volver, desechando otros lugares como Disney o el Caribe. En esta segunda vez, en menos de un año, no nos defraudaron incluso superaron nuestras expectativas, mejorando en atención, amabilidad, y por supuesto la animacion, para los niños sobre todo, con otro responsable, mejoro muchisimo.La comida,limpieza,e instalaciones, inmejorable Agradezco al responsable de este hotel la cercanía y su saber estar y su trato. Absolutamente todo. Fuimos por aniversario de boda, y tuvieron la amabilidad de obsequiarnos con botella de champán, agua y frutas. Además de tener el inolvidable detalle de que cuando volvimos de cenar teníamos en la cama pétalos de rosa, y cisnes hechos con toallas, aparte de una rosa en el baño. La verdad que disfrutamos muchísimo, repetiremos, el trato, la atención, la limpieza y todo es absolutamente perfecto.

From the moment we walked into the reception area, this hotel struck us as somewhere special, and we were not disappointed. The decor throughout is lovely, the gardens are stunning, the staff are friendly, the pool is warm, the breakfast is excellent. We stayed in a junior suite, which was spacious, attractive, comfortable, and had a large balcony overlooking the tropical gardens. The bathroom scales were a bit of a surprise!

Es war wieder einmal so, wie wir uns es vorgestellt haben. Angefangen von dem Empfang, über das Zimmer bis hin zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Die Anlage wird nach unserem Gefühl nicht älter, es sind immer wieder neue Dinge zu entdecken. Sofern man eine Suite bucht, kann man das Frühstück im "blauen Haus" einnehmen. Dies ist deshalb sehr schön, da man dort draußen auf einer Terasse sitzen kann. Hier an dieser Stelle möchten wir uns gerne bei der Haustechnik bedanken, die 2 kleine Probleme sofort und professionel beheben konnten.

The complex is stunning, with meandering paths set in beautiful tropical landscaping with a large variety of interesting plants and trees. The swimming pool areas were great with plenty of comfortable sunbeds and parasols, with a choice of a peaceful pool at one end of the complex or a livelier pool with organized activities. Very pleased with my room, nice balcony overlooking the pool. The buffet dinner and breakfast were exceptional, very high-quality food and lots of choice.

Riesiger Hotelkomplex mit zahlreichen Swimmingpools und einer schönen Gartenanlage. Auch das Essen ist vielfältig und schmackhaft. Wer will, muss das Hotel im Urlaub gar nicht mehr verlassen. Bzw. kann sich die Ausflüge dort organisieren lassen. Der archäologische Pfad direkt am Hotel lohnt sich zu gehen. Wir waren nur zwei Tage dort und haben es mehr als Kontrast zu unseren Unterkünften im Gebirge gesehen. Tiefgarage ist kostenlos.

The bed was large and very comfortable; the room was clean. One of the few hotels I have stayed in that actually asks daily if you would like fresh towels instead of just replacing them unnecessarily. When there was a problem with turning our jacuzzi off, a repairman was at the door within 5 minutes of making a call to reception. Plenty of choice in the buffet. The grounds are extensive and beautifully planted.

Especialmente preparado para disfrutar de unos dias de descanso confortable, especialmente si viajas con pequeños. En invierno piscinas climatizadas, los apartamentos están completamente equipados, la situación es ideal en pleno paseo y cerca de la playa y del idilico Puerto Mogán. La terraza es todo un lujo, para tomar el sol o descansar o simplemente comer. El wifi muy bien.

Magnifique à n importe quelle saison

En mai en septembre et décembre cet hôtel sait accueillir et de fois en fois nous voyons les progrès. Le wifi a été modifié et est très rapide, dans les chambres. Les cartes des chambres ont été modifiées, le petit déjeuner toujours aussi majestueux, on y trouve de tout. Le personnel toujours à l écoute. Résultat nous sommes de petits coqs en pâte. Le spa toujours aussi bien.... tous les jours nous faisons un soin. L hôtel est situé à quelques pas du port, jolie promenade où les restaurants et les magasins ne manquent pas. Un grand merci à la direction de l hôtel et à tout son personnel. Nous reviendrons en mai ou septembre au plus tard. Tolle, gepflegte Hotelanlage mit schönen Garten mit vielen Pflanzen welche auch beschriftet sind.Wir wohnten in einer Juniorsuite welche ausreichend Platz hat mit einer sehr schönen einladenden Terasse. Der Service im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet.Durch 2 Essenszeiten am Abend hatte man seinen festen Platz und konnte so entspannt ankommen.Die Bufetts waren abwechselungsreich, teilweise gab es Wartezeiten beim frisch zubereiteten Fisch.Das Frühstück bekam man im blauen Haus wo es sehr entspannt zuging.Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.
